Start at this Gateway of Resources

Electronic Resources for Classicists : This is an astonishingly complete site with links to every classics page online, whether the subject is the Bibliotheca Latina or the Ovid Project.

The Internet Classics Archive - Bringing the wisdom of the classics to the Internet since 1994.

Virgil.org - List of Classic web sites

Individual Sites:

Euripedes - This site examines the playwright's life and the historical events that helped shape it. The complete texts of a number of plays can be accessed here, including Medea, The Cyclops, and Helen.

The Last Days of Socrates - A comprehensive guide to the time leading up to the execution of Socrates that weaves a tapestry from segments of four works by Plato, a devoted disciple of Socrates.

Persus Project - The Perseus Project is particularly valuable because it puts the classics into a context that makes them easier to understand and enjoy.

Sophocles - There are seven of Sophocles' plays available on this site, also an examination of his influence on the writing of dramas through the ages.
