Introduction
Prompt:
As an exit project, you are to conduct an inquiry on
the topic of your own choice (approved by the teacher, of course).
To do that you will write a focus question to explore. After you
research using several sources, you will present your findings/position
in a multimedia presentation. Once you complete your presentation,
you will write a reflective essay on your process and findings.
Process:
-
Determine
you topic focus (teacher permission required), and write a focus
question to explore.

Select
a mentor (teacher or community member) to aid you on your journey
and to evaluate your presentation with me.

Research
to find answers to your question. Use a minimun of 10 sources
- four of which should be different kinds.

Keep
a research journal as you proceed.

Prepare
a 10 to 15 minute (15-20 for Honors) multimedia presentation showing
your findings
-
After
you present your presentation, write a 5 to 7 page reflective essay
on your process and findings. Include a bibliography using MLA
format.
