| Each summer, around 70 students from all across Aroostook County, Maine, gather to help each other develop leadership skills in helping prevent drug and alcohol abuse. This development of leadership potential is important to Caribou Middle School as the students who attend this program return to the school eager to carry out drug and alcohol prevention programs right here at the school. Such programs have included assistance at parent programs, speaking to area civic and school groups, and coordination of a Social Night for the school's 5th and 6th grade students. |
