ALL-AROOSTOOK CHORUS

All-Aroostook Chorus students are currently selected on a recommendations basis. This is a trial program that replaced the regular auditions process used until 1998. Mrs. King recommends thirty percent of the total number of chorus students. She selects those students from chorus students who are not auditioning for All-Aroostook Band.     Students meet before school to rehearse and "audition" for Mrs. King. She then lists the students in order of preferred selection and sends the list to the Northern Maine Music Educators Choral Committee for final review.      Caribou students fared better under the old auditions process, but are following the trial process for another year.
