Notice of Meeting - The Caribou Board of Education will hold its regular bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at 7:00 P.M. in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools.

Agenda Topics

1.	Minutes
2.	Public Comments – Topic & time allotment as determined by Chair.
3.	Resignations: Sue White – Girls Soccer Coach, Caribou Middle School
4.	Nominations: Special Education Teacher – Hilltop Elementary School
5.	Curriculum Coordinator Frank McElwain will provide a progress report on the districts Class Size Reduction Grant received for school year 1999-2000.
6.	Vocational Director Mr. Lynn McNeal will seek Board approval for a Home Design Course to be included as part of the Industrial Construction Program at Caribou Regional Vocational/Technical Center.
7.	The Board will consider the impact on curriculum and student daily schedules resulting from a possible staff reduction in the Family & Consumer Science Program. School administration will review options for the Boards consideration.
8.	Curriculum Coordinator Frank McElwain will seek Board approval for submission of the following state grants: Goals 2000 Grant Technology Literacy Challenge Grant Professional Staff Development Grant
9.	Caribou D.A.R.E. officer Stephanie Beaulieu will provide the Board an overview of the D.A.R.E. Program in grade six at Caribou Middle School.
