Notice of Meeting - The Caribou Board of Education will hold its regular bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at 6:30 P.M. in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools.

| 4. | Eighth Grade students from Caribou Middle
School will share with the Board their research resulting from a class
assignment titled "Project Citizen". |

| 7. | As a result of increasing numbers of classes
at the Pre-School level, Elementary Principal Brenda Felch will seek Board
approval for an additional 1/2 time Preschool teacher and teacher aide |
| 8. | Caribou High School Principal Mr. David Ouellette
and Athletic Director Dwight Hunter will seek Board approval for classification
changes in wrestling and cross-country. Additionally, Mr. Hunter will seek
permission to join the Penobscot Valley Conference in all interscholastic
activities. |
| 9. | Curriculum Coordinator Frank McElwain will
review recommended changes to Board policy IGBH "Lau Plan". This
plan outlines the procedures for identifying, assessing, and serving E.S.L.
(English as a Second Language) students in the Caribou School Department. |
| 10. | Special Education Director Richard Umphrey
and High School Principal David Ouellette will review current federal and
state regulations regarding awarding of diplomas to special education students. |
